Entry Level CNC Manual Machinist

Aside from our opportunities involving numerous years of experience, we are on the lookout for an Entry Level CNC machinist who will be responsible for producing precision machining and assembly equipment. The position requires a driven individual who is hungry for experience and ready to bring their skills to the table. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of all aspects related to manufacturing processes such as assemblies/motorships, assembly procedures, etc. and must be capable of working independently or with team members while maintaining high quality standards and a clean work area.

Duties:

  • Interpret schematics and CAD drawings (blueprint reading)
  • Set up and operate per op-sheets and blueprints in a job shop environment with minimal assistance
  • Tip off tools/enter offsets
  • Inspect the finished product for accuracy per blueprints and setup sheets
  • Maintain your machine and troubleshoot issues
  • Report any major issues to management or the design team

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Current enrollment or recent completion of a trade school program
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and job process routing sheets
  • Ability to read, write and edit simple programs
  • Vocational certificate (preferred)
  • Experience with CNC machines
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good math skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Overtime available.

Pay range: $20-$26/hour
